An incident happened on the MRT in Taiwan in October that just went viral. Two passengers were involved in a strangely quiet but racially-heated argument. From what we gathered, a Caucasian passenger by the name of Christopher Hall got on the MRT with his Chinese girlfriend. Allegedly, a Chinese passenger Liao was incensed when Hall bumped into him without apologizing. What follows are eight minutes of verbal feud while Liao spewed racially insensitive comments at Hall and defamed his girlfriend while Hall’s girlfriend went on to tape the entire argument.
Hall, whose public Facebook profile is under Dr34mlucid, reported the incident to the authority but got the run-around which made him resort to posting the video on his YouTube channel yesterday. Today, it was reported that Liao has showed up at the police station for written statement but still refuses to apologize.
