Google Car Almost Got a Ticket for Going Too Slow
Google car got stopped by a police yesterday in Mountainview, California, where the Google headquarter is located. The police noticed the car was going 24 mph in a 35 mph zone. According to the law, police can stop any vehicle deems too slow which can block the traffic flow but in this case Google, being a self-driven electric car, is classified differently by law. Subjected to a different set of regulations, self-driving cars are prohibited to operate with a speed limit higher than 35 mph. At the end, the police had to let the lucky car go. It’s all good.
