Coming home from dinner with my son, I just received a Facebook post saying that Nicholas Brendon has passed away in his sleep from natural causes at the age of 54. A flood of memories washed over me. I remember how supportive Nicky was as an actor when I was producing my friend Ringo Le’s sophomore feature Big Gay Love. He took a significant pay cut to work on an ultra-low-budget LGBTQ+ film I was producing.
I am deeply saddened and shocked by the news, as I truly enjoyed working with Nicky on the feature. He was incredibly supportive of the director’s vision and made bold and thoughtful choices in portraying an LGBTQ+ romantic lead.

I was also entrusted by our sponsors, Lexus and Le Cellier, to capture branded photos. Today, I am releasing them to the world in memory of a brilliant, kind, and remarkable artist we lost on March 20, 2026.

I miss you deeply, Nicky, and had hoped to work with you on set again someday.
